Born in Holland and raised in the United States, Megan spent summers in Europe visiting her family. It was on these trips that Megan’s passion for baking was inspired by her morning visits to high end Dutch and Parisian bakeries. Everything about the experience, the colors, textures, tastes and smells immediately captivated her and ignited her passion for baked goods. She quickly grew to love the art of baking as well as the experiences and enjoyment her creations provide.
With her chocolate chip cookies, Megan seeks to fuse the heritage of one of America’s favorite treats, with an authentic patisserie look and feel, to create a unique and premium cookie experience.
Mae Mae’s cookies are handcrafted daily in small batches at our Los Angeles based bakery using the highest quality and locally sourced ingredients. Free range eggs, locally sourced butter, California bittersweet chocolate chips, pure vanilla extract and hand harvested fleur de sel from France combine to make the perfect premium cookie experience.
